Providing physical health checks to the community, so you can stay fighting fit.
Health checks and nursing services

LRSN employs a team of registered nurses who can provide physical health checks. The nurses work from clinics based around the county, and mobile clinics are available at some agricultural and horticultural events during the year. The permanent clinics are located at Louth Livestock Market, Spalding Auction, Brigg Peacock and Binnington, Corringham Peacock and Binnington and just over the county border at Melton Mowbray Market.

Health checks include blood pressure, blood sugar testing, basic cholesterol testing, a simple eye check, and prediabetes screening. Our nurses can also discuss any other health issues you may have and explain medication to help you understand medical jargon. In addition to their knowledge of physical health, our nurses are also mental health first aiders, so they can be a friendly shoulder to cry on when you need someone to listen.
If you would like to visit one of our clinics, you’ll find the dates, times and locations here.

Heather Dawes, Lead Nurse“You can come to our clinics in your mucky boots and overalls straight from the yard; it doesn’t matter to us. We’re here to give as many people in our community as possible the opportunity for a simple health check. You don’t have to make an appointment; you can just drop in and see us, and best of all, it’s free.”
