Building Resilience

Discover LRSN’s Fit for the Future project and how it is supporting those aged 16-35 working and living in agricultural and horticultural communities.

LRSN’s Fit for the Future project engages young people and young adults between 16 and 35, and focuses on creating resilience for the future, educating and developing awareness around personal health and well-being, and providing one-to-one support.
Our dedicated emotional wellbeing workers directly work with young people within Lincolnshire’s agricultural and horticultural communities to improve their health and wellbeing by delivering tailored emotional and practical support to them.

Fit for the Future aims to reduce the sense of loneliness and isolation among young people in Lincolnshire’s farming community through awareness-raising activities, enabling young people at risk of ill mental health or suicide to reach out for our services at an earlier stage.

Working with organisations such as the Lincolnshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, Riseholme College, the University of Lincoln, and the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, our emotional well-being workers are helping to increase awareness and engagement with LRSN’s support services.
