For 25 years LRSN has supported Lincolnshire’s farmers and growers, pledge a gift in your will and help us continue that support for another 25 years.
Gifts in wills

Any legacy – no matter how large or small – makes a lasting difference and, if you like, you can choose to leave your gift to the areas of our service that matter most to you. Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN) is a small but essential charity working within Lincolnshire’s agricultural and horticultural communities and allied industries. Growing crops and rearing livestock are an essential part of Lincolnshire’s heritage and economy, with Lincolnshire producing one-eighth of the UK’s food. The varied landscape from the Fens to the Wolds provides not only a home but a living for approximately 75,000 of Lincolnshire’s rural inhabitants.
Without gifts in wills, we wouldn’t be able to look after all the people we support or protect the services we offer.

Gilly Steel, LRSN Health and Wellbeing Lead“Our passion for our agricultural community is driven from our own experience and skills, and the desire to help from ‘within’. The health screening allows those working in farming to access health checks and advice when they may not otherwise have the time or motivation to see a medical practitioner. Our nurses often come across people in need of medical care and their vital intervention has saved lives. Our caseworkers all offer a variety of skills, from business and financial support and advice, physical and mental health support, to advocacy and major farming issues such as bovine TB or flooding.”
Thanks to the generosity of people who have left a donation in their will to LRSN, we are able to maintain and expand our services and keep pace with the growing demand for our support. People leave a gift to us in their will for many reasons, sometimes because they have experienced how our support can make a real difference to their lives or perhaps because they have witnessed through others, just what we can offer when we have the resources. Whatever your reason, leaving us a gift will most certainly mean the money from your lifetime will do something amazing for others.

We have been supporting Lincolnshire’s farmers and growers for over 25 years. So, if you can, please consider pledging a gift in your will to help us continue that support for another 25 years.

Amy Thomas, Head of Charity“We understand farming is not “just a job” but a complete way of life, and if those in our farming and horticultural businesses are unable to look after themselves then we can step in and support. The stresses experienced in our industry mean that agriculture is identified as being one of the professions at highest risk of suicide. At LRSN we aim to help reduce these stressors where we can, making both individuals and our agricultural and horticultural communities healthier and more resilient.”
