Sarah PoucherWe are delighted to be Louth Rotary Club’s Charity of the Year and we are in complete awe of the three Louth Rotarians who are taking on a 500 mile challenge to raise funds.
From 18th–20th September 2026, team Equipe Ludanauts will be taking on the Extra Mile 2026 Challenge—an intense relay ride spanning three countries: France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The team of Louth Rotarians, friends—Alan, Ian, and Calum—will be keeping the wheels turning almost non-stop across gruelling terrain. With the fourth rider, Joe, unable to join them this year, the three of them are stepping up to take on the extra miles, tougher shifts, and endless climbs to pull this off together.
Why they are pedalling… they are riding to raise crucial funds for
Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN): 75% of funds raised go directly to LRSN
Club Peloton: 25% will support Club Peloton’s projects, helping transform the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
How You Can Help
Every mile they tackle will push their endurance, but knowing they’re making a real difference in their local community will keep them going.
Whether large or small, every donation directly turns their pedal power into meaningful support for people in need. Please donate today and help them reach our target!
Over three days, they will work together to keep the wheels turning almost continuously, with each rider cycling around 40–45 miles per day in manageable stints. It will be a demanding test of teamwork, endurance and determination, but what an exciting challenge to take on!
